The Soft Power of Grief
Grief work is the work of our times.
Not only for our own aliveness and healing, but as sacred activism for a world that needs all of our effort in changing.
Grief is not a problem to be solved.
It is not a phase to move through or a wound to be healed. It is a sacred, necessary response to love and loss and it is one of the most honest things we will ever feel. Our grief is the inarguable proof that we took the chance to love.
We live in a world that avoids grief, pathologizes emotional pain, and has largely forgotten how to honor the thresholds of life. And yet beneath our anxiety, our numbness, our disconnection, grief is often what is waiting.
The body holds what the mind can’t always reach.
Spinal Flow creates more space within our nervous system, releasing layers of stress and stored experience to cultivate a greater relationship with what lives within us. It is not about extracting grief or forcing a release. It is about softening the system enough that we become active participants with our own emotional selves.
As Rumi said of love - It is not our job to seek, but to remove all the barriers we have built against it. The same is true of grief. It is already there. The work is removing what keeps us from touching it.
Spinal Flow is one of the most gentle and powerful ways to begin that process.
Sacred Witnessing Sessions
Grief is meant to be witnessed.
Sacred Witnessing is meant for you if…
You are navigating a recent loss - major or minor
You are moving through a life transition and feel the weight of what is changing
You have never had a space to be seen in your grief, truly seen, without someone trying to fix it
You sense grief is present but haven’t been able to reach it, or let it reach you
You are curious about grief as a sacred experience
You have a desire to go deeper into the inseparable relationship between grief and love
“Our grief doesn’t need healing. Our healing needs our grief.”
Together we will explore your relationship to grief, theoretically and practically. We will identify ways grief is showing up in your life, honor what you are currently holding as a sacred and natural part of the human journey. Through spiritual examination and spinal flow technique, we will explore ways to come into greater relationship with our grief and where it lives.
Grief is a journey into the depths of the sacred and our raw humanness. I will go with you.
“For the first time in almost 8 years, I finally felt safe enough to open up and talk about my grief. During our sessions, emotions I had buried for so long naturally came to the surface, and I found myself crying and releasing things I had never shared with anyone before.
Geo’s work helped me begin shedding layers of pain and emotional heaviness that I didn’t even realize I was still carrying. Along the way, he always created a safe, supportive space where I felt truly listened to, understood, and never judged.
I truly feel this work has been part of the beginning of my healing journey, and I’m deeply grateful for the care, patience, and support he’s given me. I honestly can’t recommend him enough.”

Community Grief Ritual
“The only way out is through. The only way through is together.”
Grief belongs to all of us and is meant to be held in community. Our culture has largely lost its rituals that once made this possible. At a time in our world when it is needed the most, we have lost our gatherings, the ceremonies, and the collective permission to feel our pain.
Community grief rituals restore that permission. Through self reflection practices, counsel sharing, community music, singing and other practices woven throughout the day, we get to participate in what humans have always done together at the thresholds of life.
